PROF. FRANCIS ERIC AMUQUANDOH (PHD)

Prof. Francis Eric Amuquandoh is a Professor of Tourism in the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Cape Coast. He holds multiple degrees including a Diploma in War Studies, a Diploma in Education, a BA and an MPhil in Tourism from the University of Cape Coast, a professional Master's in Geoinformation Science from the International Institute of Aerospace and Earth Science in the Netherlands, and a PhD in Tourism from the University of Strathclyde and University of Cape Coast. He is a Commonwealth Fellow, United Nations Remote Sensing Training Educator, and an alumnus of the Galilee International Management Institute in Israel. He served as a Visiting Professor at the University of Surrey in 2013. Prof. Amuquandoh was promoted to Associate Professor in 2011 and full Professor in 2016. He has held several administrative roles including Head of Department, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, and currently, Acting Provost of the College of Humanities and Legal Studies. His research focuses on Food Tourism, Ecotourism, Volunteer Tourism, and Community and Tourism. He was a resource editor for Annals of Tourism Research and is currently on the editorial board of Oguaa Social Sciences Journal and the Advisory Board of Takoradi Technical University Journal of Technology. Prof. Amuquandoh is married to Miss Victoria Kwenin and they have three children.
PROF. PATRIQUE DEGRAFT-YANKSON (PHD)

Patrique deGraft-Yankson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Graphic Design at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) in Ghana. With a background in Arts Education, he has been teaching since 1986, focusing on nurturing students' creative abilities. His interest in integrating information and communication technology (ICT) into education led to postgraduate studies on the influence of ICT in teaching Art and Design in Ghana. His research examines the role of Art and Design in education and critiques the preference for colonial design principles, advocating for design education that is culturally relevant in Ghana. He emphasizes traditional symbolism and iconography, aiming to redesign the indigenous material world for societal wellbeing amid technological advancements. Prof. deGraft-Yankson holds a PhD and an MA in Art Education from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He has been pivotal in transforming Graphic Design Education at UEW, focusing on the pedagogical implications of ICT in Visual Arts and Design Education.
DR. HABIL PÉTER BALÁZS DLA

Dr. Balazs is a visual artist and teacher specializing in ceramics and drawing. He holds a Master's degree in Ceramics Sculpture and a Doctor of Liberal Arts degree focusing on space, landscape, and fire. An Associate Professor at the EKCU Institute of Fine Arts and Art Theory, he teaches at the Department of Drawing-Visual Communication. Dr. Balazs is actively involved in various art associations and has received awards and scholarships. He has exhibited his work both individually and in group exhibitions, participated in symposiums, and contributed to organizing and curating art programs. He creates sculptures and artworks for public spaces and collections. His educational practice includes individual proofreading and consultation with students, and he participates in organizing education and various art science events. Dr. Balazs is also an editor and publisher, working on catalogs and publications related to nature art and landscape revitalization. He has been associated with institutions such as Farkasko Cave Art Camp Association Noszvaj, EKKE, PTE, and KMI. He has a strong interest in landscape revitalization, has given lectures on the topic, and has been involved in animation.
Prof. Dr. Evans Eshiemogie Ojo

Prof. Ojo is a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Power Engineering at Durban University of Technology. He holds a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering and an MSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu Natal, and a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Benin. He has extensive teaching and administrative experience, having served as an Associate Professor, Postgraduate Coordinator, and Deputy Head of Department. His research interests include dynamic systems, vibration analysis, renewable energy, and electrical power generation. Prof. Ojo is a member of ECSA and SAIMechE. He has supervised several Master's and Doctoral students, published numerous papers, and authored a book chapter. He has received grants from the Royal Academy of Engineering and ESKOM.
Prof. Klu

Prof. Klu holds a D. Ed and M. Ed in Educational Linguistics from Rand Afrikaans University, and a B.A (Hons) in Linguistics from the University of Ibadan. He has received grants totaling R680,000 and multiple research awards, including Univen VC's merit recognition. Currently a Professor at the University of Venda, he has also served as Associate Professor, Vice Dean (SHSS), and HoD of English. His career includes senior lecturing roles at the University of Venda, Limpopo, and Namibia. Prof. Klu has supervised several PhD and MA students and is actively involved in community engagement, including the Makhado Literary Fair, training teachers, and facilitating workshops. He has held leadership roles such as Vice Dean (SHSS) and HoD of English, and has been a member of the University of Venda Senate since 2011. Prof. Klu is a dedicated educator and researcher with extensive experience and active community involvement.
