Prof. Klu holds a D. Ed and M. Ed in Educational Linguistics from Rand Afrikaans University, and a B.A (Hons) in Linguistics from the University of Ibadan. He has received grants totaling R680,000 and multiple research awards, including Univen VC's merit recognition. Currently a Professor at the University of Venda, he has also served as Associate Professor, Vice Dean (SHSS), and HoD of English. His career includes senior lecturing roles at the University of Venda, Limpopo, and Namibia. Prof. Klu has supervised several PhD and MA students and is actively involved in community engagement, including the Makhado Literary Fair, training teachers, and facilitating workshops. He has held leadership roles such as Vice Dean (SHSS) and HoD of English, and has been a member of the University of Venda Senate since 2011. Prof. Klu is a dedicated educator and researcher with extensive experience and active community involvement.
