Professor Ramos Asafo-Adjei, currently serving as a lecturer at the Communication and Media Studies Section of the Centre for Languages and Liberal Studies (CELLIBS) of Takoradi Technical University (TTU), holds the position of Dean at the International Programmes and External Linkages Office (IPELO) of TTU. He has a rich academic background with multiple degrees, including a PhD in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the University of Venda in South Africa. Prof. Asafo-Adjei has contributed extensively to academia through research articles, books, conference presentations, and journal assessments.

Dr. (Mrs.) Abigail Konadu Kay Bakpa is affiliated to the Communication and Media Studies Section of the Centre for Languages and Liberal Studies at Takoradi Technical University. She lectures courses in Communication Skills, Communication at Work and Academic Writing. Dr. (Mrs.) Bakpa possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Linguistics, a Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, and a Master of Philosophy degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. Dr. Bakpa has a strong educational foundation in English, Linguistics, and Teaching English as a Second Language, which has given her a profound comprehension of language structures, learning theories, and pedagogical practices. Her research lies in empowering language learners to become autonomous, confident, and effective communicators. Dr. (Mrs.) Abigail Konadu Kay Bakpa also holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering, specializing in Risk Communication of Health Information which has equipped her with a distinct combination of technical and communication skills. Her research focuses on using quantitative and qualitative approaches to develop and evaluate evidence-based risk communication approaches to inform public health policy and practice. She is dedicated to improving the communication of disease risks to enhance public understanding, engagement and health outcomes. Miss Bertha Mensah

Bertha Mensah is a Assistant Registrar at Mechanical Engineering Department at Takoradi Technical University. Bertha Mensah is a highly qualified and experienced Human Resource professional. Bertha possesses a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from CASS Europe and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Studies from the University of Cape Coast. Her extensive work experience includes roles as Assistant Registrar, Principal Administrative Assistant and Administrative Assistant at various educational institutions. Bertha is skilled in performing administrative duties, handling secretarial tasks, and managing changes in public sector settings. Her strong interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities and dedication to her work make her a valuable asset.
Dr. Nicholas Imbeah

Dr. Nicholas Imbeah, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Tourism Management at Takoradi Technical University (TTU), Ghana, is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in teaching and examination roles. Holding a Bachelor's Degree in Social Science with a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast (UCC), a Master's in Geography & Resource Development from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a PhD in Regional Science/Tourism Management from Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), Hungary, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his field. Dr. Imbeah's research interests encompass Regional Science, Festival & Eco-Tourism, and he serves as an article peer reviewer for Ecocycles Journal, Hungary, Europe. He has held various leadership roles at TTU, including serving as the Head of Department for Tourism Management.
Prof. Maame Efua Nkrumah (PhD)

Prof. (Mrs.) Maame Afua Nkrumah is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Languages and Liberal Studies (CLLS) and the first female Professor of Takoradi Technical University (TTU). Currently, she is the Director for Research, Innovation and Development. Her research area is in Educational Measurements and Evaluation (Quality Assurance, Institutional Effectiveness and gender issue). Prof Nkrumah holds a bachelor degree in Science Education (Chemistry, 2004) from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana; a Master’s degree in Educational Measurement, Evaluation and Assessment (2007) from the University of Twente, the Netherlands; and a PhD in Education from the Bristol University, the United kingdom. Prof. Nkrumah has thirty-five (35) scholarly articles/books to her credit and is still counting. Prof. Nkrumah is a member of a number of important association such as the International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI), the Coalition on Media and Education for Development, Africa; the African Union Commission on Education, the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), Commonwealth Association of Technical Universities and Polytechnics in Africa (CAPA), Association of African Universities, the Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), a Professional fellow, Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants, Ghana, and Women in Technical Education and Training (WITTED), Ghana and Africa. Prof. Nkrumah has chaired or is chairing a number of both local and international committees. Key among them are the Coalition on Media and Education for Development in Africa Forum’s (CAFOR) Technical Committee on TVET for the African union (2022 –to date); the Local Organizing Committee for the 4th Federal Polytechnic Ilaro, Nigeria International Conference (2023); TTU 2nd Biennial Research Conference Committee (2022), the Strategic Plan (2021- 2025) Committee of TTU (2021), the Green Committee, the Sexual Harassment and Investigative Committee (to date), In 2021 she received the Takoradi Technical University “Vice Chancellor’s Special Award”. Other awards are Master Presenter, by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD), A and M University, Austin, Texas USA (2009) and a NUFFIC scholarship, Netherlands (2006). Prof. Nkrumah’s recent trainings in relation her on-going projects include “Developing a Circular Economy Ecosystem” within the West Clean Energy and Environment (WACCE) by Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), and Wuppertal Institute for Climate (2023), and Greening TVET in Ghana (2023- 2025) by Germany. Her recent projects/Grants are: 1. 50,000 Euros from GIZ for Greening TVET (Biodigester and Digitalization), 2024. 2. ECOWAS Training/Examination Partner for the certification of Mini-Grid Designers, Installers, and Inspectors by the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREE), 2024. 3. 6,250 Euros for the NKABOM Project independently financed by the France Embassy, Ghana (2024) 3. 70,000 Euros for the Siemens Technology project, funded by GIZ and Siemens, Ghana, 2021 - 2023 4. 50,000 euros grant for improving teaching quality at the Faculty of Built and Natural environment, TTU, Ghana (2021-2022) 5. 400,000 Euros Green energy project by the Green Solar Academy, Germany and its international partners (2022). 6. 667,000Ghana Cedis ‘Skills for girls’ project by GIZ (2022).

Professor Abigail Padi is a highly experienced academician currently serving as a Professor of Corporate Entrepreneurship and Development Economics at Takoradi Technical University, where she also directs the Centre for Gender and Advocacy. With extensive expertise, she previously led the Department of Accounting and Finance. Prof. Padi's research interests span Development Economics, Corporate Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, Small Business Management, and Gender Studies, resulting in numerous publications in prestigious journals and authorship of two influential books.
Prof. Owusu-Ansah Ankrah (PhD)

Owusu-Ansah Ankrah is an esteemed Associate Professor of Sculpture at Takoradi Technical University. He has held various leadership roles, including Dean of Students, Head of the Sculpture Department, and currently Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts and Technology. Active in university committees, he contributes significantly to decision-making processes. A passionate sports enthusiast, he coaches the university's basketball team, leading them to many victories. As a former West African Junior Gold medalist in long jump, his athletic achievements highlight his dedication and talent. His contributions to the university's Publications Board and his leadership in both academics and sports are highly valued.
Dr. Philomina Aboagye

Philomena is a seasoned professional administrator and educator with a PhD in Business Administration from Open University Malaysia and multiple advanced degrees from the University of Cape Coast. She has over twenty years of administrative experience and nine years of teaching experience in basic and senior high schools. Philomena has mentored many administrators and initiated 'Short Courses' at Takoradi Technical University to enhance the competitiveness of entrepreneurs in SMEs and artisans. Currently, she is the Deputy Registrar in charge of Academic Affairs at Takoradi Technical University and has held various significant positions within the university. She has served on numerous boards and committees and has presented at various local and international workshops and conferences. Philomena has published around ten articles in international peer-reviewed journals and authored over eight position papers and proposals.
Prof. Albert Tchey Agbenyegah (PhD)

Prof Albert Tchey Agbenyegah is a prominent academic with a wealth of experience in research, teaching and mentorship. He holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of Applied Management Sciences at the Durban University of Technology, focusing on rural entrepreneurship, small businesses, and the impact of social capital.
